What I liked about this product:
1. L shape, not T shaped: The L shape totally works, looks nice, and saves space on my shelves.
2. Holds up books: I have large law books on one end--no concerns about them accidentally taking out that bookend--and a number of tall, skinny, light-weight notebooks on the other end, so I had my doubts that it would hold its own if the law books created a domino-effect tidal wave. Both end hold up, even if I remove a few books in the middle!
3. No slipping: The bottom of the bookend grips and doesn't leave marks behind.
4. Orange!
